Sustainable Permaculture Workshop

Practical introduction to sustainable living. Sustainability, gardening, growing your own, DIY and renewables? Then this course is for you.

This two day course will provide you with an introduction to the practical elements of sustainable living based on the principles of permaculture. It will provide attendees with an overview of permaculture and renewables, an introduction to growing your own food, basic carpentry and seed saving. In essence it is about using the resources around us, improvising and DIYing.

Lunch will be provided.

The course will cover:

  • An introduction to permaculture principles / gardening style
  • Practicals: Make a compost bin (how to make good compost), Create a no dig bed,
    Seed Sowing,
  • Introduction to renewables – energy in your own home
  • Seed Saving
  • Visualising / designing your sustainable home and garden

Please bring suitable clothes and shoes.
